Driving Therapy

Every now and then, I feel the need to move. Being in one place at a time makes me feel rooted and allows my problems and negative thoughts to surround me and convince me that I have nowhere else to go. When I start to feel this, I know it's time to get out and drive.

There are times that I don't know where I'm heading, but it doesn't matter. The feeling of moving, being distracted, and minding my driving instead of problems all keep my head from buzzing with what I'm trying to avoid.

What follows is a moment of happiness that comes about from a lack of worry. A time where instead of giving myself a hard time with negativity, I enjoy one thing at a time. I enjoy driving.
